RGCB celebrated International Women's day on 8th March. Mrs. Santha Jose, founder of ASRAYA was the chief guest. Welcoming the gathering, RGCB Director, Professor Chandrabhas Narayana, said this year's Women's Day is being observed when the country is celebrating the accomplishments of women who are making a significant impact in various fields. Dr. S. Asha Nair, Scientist, RGCB, introduced the chief guest. Mrs. Jose narrated her long journey over the past 25 years and how her organization could bring a little cheer and solace to cancer patients at the Regional Cancer Centre (RCC) here by extending support to the palliative ecosystem of the institution. Various competitions were organized for students and staff of #RGCB as a part of the celebration.
