Every year RGCB organizes Sir CV Raman Lecture Series as part of the birthday celebrations of Sir CV Raman on 7th November. This year the lecture was delivered by Shri Jayant Sahasrabudhe, National Organizing Secretary, Vijnana Bharati on the topic "Freedom struggle and Science." Dr. S. Asha Nair welcomed the gathering, and Professor Chandrabhas Narayana, Director RGCB, presided over the function. Shri R.Kumar proposed the vote of thanks. Later chief guest interacted with faculty and visited the various central facilities of the institute.
